About

Welcome to Harcourt 51.

I would like to have a blog-based website. So my plan is to test this out, posting lots of bits and pieces to see if I can post something every day. This is going to be a very eclectic mix and I hope, eventually, that I will become an accomplished blogger/storyteller/adviser/whatever. Let’s see where this leads. Whatever happens, it’s going to be interesting. I don’t believe in being bored, or boring.

If you enjoy it, I’m happy. If you hate it, I don’t mind. Just leave constructive criticism; abuse will be deleted and reported. Either way, as long as it elicits feelings, I’m happy.

  1. So you decided to join the small clan of Uncle Spike followers….
That makes me a happy blogger now – I really appreciate you making that special mouse click.

Hope you like my upcoming posts and if you get bored one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too.

If you have any likes, dislikes or suggestions about my blog, just let me know, either through ‘comments’ or via email. Always welcome reader input 🙂

    Have a great old day…

  3. Bonjour Michael

Thanks for your comments on a couple of my pictures – Like you this blogging business is relatively new to me. Started small in May this year and was trying to manage 3 blogs. Not possible for me to maintain 3 and even 2 gets a bit much at times. I’m contracted to provide a couple of posts each month on the Angloinfo website but my true passion is photography and redstuffdan. I have found the more effort and energy l put into it the more rewarding it becomes.

My blog is bespoke photo/art with a bit of writing thrown in which l am striving to improve. I have built a solid core of followers – nearly 800 – and try to interact with at least 6 every day but its normally more like fifteen recently.

Hope you are keeping well and l wish you all the best in creating your blog-based website.

    1. Thanks, Dan, for the encouragement.

My next move will be to transfer my domain from a build-it-yourself website to a blog-based one. Then start advertising my business. Meantime, I, too, have to keep up with my followers!

      Thanks again for the comment.

  5. Thank you for the follow! Please be aware that my blog is a bilingual one.
So you may get links to some poems in English as well as to some in Italian…
I’m trying to keep the posting balanced between the two languages.
