So long you’ve been gone
It seems like just yesterday
When will my heart heal?
Oh how I wish you were here
To be together again
Welcome to Harcourt 51 – Where anything can happen – And usually does
So long you’ve been gone
It seems like just yesterday
When will my heart heal?
Oh how I wish you were here
To be together again
Her tortured breathing
Slowed to a gentle whisper
Till she breathed her last
As life finally left her
He knew: Love would linger on
Distraction techniques
Finding fault with someone else
Hiding what you are
Smoke screen of lies and half truths
Destroys our relationship
Sun high in the sky
And she complimented me
On my gardening
“What a lovely show,” she said,
“Though they are dandelions!”
A lonely old man
It wasn’t until he died
Swarm of relatives
Picking through his belongings
Found wisdom in his presence
Vivid memories
Racing back into my mind
Nostalgic journey
Through amazing scenery
Twas the summer of my life
A previous post about the Brecon Mountain Railway elicited a comment that the engine would look good in the beautiful Welsh scenery. It does.
In springtime sunshine
A walk along the river
Industrial past
Ruins of old copperworks
Fall slowly into ruins
The Hafod-Morfa copperworks is part of Swansea’s industrial heritage. There are plans to rejuvenate the area to highlight its importance in the Swansea economy of the past.
Drove past the station
Demolition in progress
A faded glory
Seems somehow appropriate
Last year it was my old school
It wasn’t your words
That scorched my heart so badly
But your attitude
You were one that I trusted
Who tries to discredit me
